NASH38X alloy is a solution-reinforced heat-resistant alloy with excellent strength at high temperatures and good resistance to carburization and sulfidation environments. Its oxidation resistance is comparable to that of other widely used Fe-Ni-Cr materials, such as alloys 330 and 800H, but still has high strength at temperatures up to 2000oF (1095oC) degrees. Even when compared to Ni-Cr alloys, it is significantly higher. This alloy is typically welded using HAYNES556 filler wire.
